Welcome to Tarn Cricket Club Tarn Cricket Club is an active participant in ACCSO (SW France Association of Cricket Clubs) and all our club members are licensed by France Cricket. We are based in Lisle-sur-Tarn in the department of Tarn, 81, in south west France. We encourage and support cricket in our area through competitive matches, friendly matches and coaching sessions. We play league cricket in the Midi-Pyrenees league, organised by ACCSO, with matches home and away against clubs in Toulouse, and the departments of Gers and Herault. We also participate in the Siddall’s Cup, a knockout competition covering both the Midi-Pyrenees and the Aquitaine regions. Our team for friendly matches is selected to give as many players as possible a chance to play, and perhaps improve performances to achieve selection for the competitive team. We field as many junior players as we can when they are ready for a taste of friendly but still serious cricket. Coaching sessions are held indoors at the start of the season, and outdoors before the main season begins. We aim to run a programme of coaching each season, aimed at both juniors and at senior players who may be a little rusty after a period away from the game. Two of our members hold a coaching qualification. Please feel free to contact us whatever your interest in cricket, or the club. Membership applications are now being accepted for the 2009 season. For existing members, membership renewals are between 1st December 2008 and end January 2009.
